The Durham Read-A-Thon is getting ready to begin! The Read-A-Thon is a reading incentive program designed to motivate our students to READ, keep them reading and REWARD them for reading. The funds collected go to the Durham PSO to fund events, such as STEAM night, teacher requests, classroom field trips (when able), our library and Family fun nights. Please support our students by making a pledge for each minute they read or a flat pledge to encourage students to reach their reading goal.

The Read-A-Thon is set to begin October 23rd, 2021 and run to November 5th, 2021 and will overlap with our Online book fair. Any form of reading during this two week period counts! Students reading to themselves, reading aloud to someone else, students being read to, students listening to books on Epic or any audiobooks. Don’t forget Homework minutes count too!!

If you are looking for some book suggestions the Washington County Library has you covered!
